Alméa Collection: Our Story
Created and designed by Marina Peres, Alméa is a resortwear collection shaped by fabric, movement and restraint. Born from a life between Portugal and the Middle East, the collection brings together fluid silhouettes, delicate textiles and a slower way of making.
Between two Worlds
The first pieces took shape in Dubai, through delicate textiles, generous forms and the expressive language of resortwear. Today, fabrics are sourced in Dubai for their lightness, texture and movement, then transformed through a slower process with artisans connected to Portugal and the Middle East. Each piece carries this tension: Middle Eastern ease, Portuguese restraint.
The result is a collection of fluid dresses, kimonos and resort pieces made for women who move between places, climates and occasions. Pieces that feel effortless, but never casual. Delicate, but not fragile. Feminine, but not decorative. Alméa is made slowly, in small numbers, with the intention of being kept.

MATERIALS & MOVEMENT
Alméa pieces are created from fabrics selected in Dubai for their lightness, texture and movement. Silk and chiffon are central to the language of the collection: sheer, airy and fluid, it creates volume without weight and follows the body through motion.
Rather than imposing structure, each piece is designed around the behaviour of the fabric how it falls, how it opens, how it moves, and how it changes with the body.
LIMITED BY NATURE
Alméa does not work through repetition. Each piece is produced in extremely limited quantities, often one-of-one, or in editions of two. This allows the collection to remain personal, scarce and carefully edited. Once a fabric is used, it may never return in the same form.
One Form, Many Readings
Alméa pieces are conceived as one size. This approach is not based on standardised fit alone, but on proportion, openness and movement. Wide sleeves, relaxed volumes, adjustable ties and fluid cuts allow each piece to adapt naturally to the body. The result is a garment that can be worn in different ways, across different moments from resort to city, from day to evening.
